*this is a system message, not an error*
If you see "The connection for this site is not secure", or an SSL error, please contact your local system support. It is a browser error, not a PIEE, account, or certificate error.
Troubleshooting of this error should occur with local system administrator for the affected PC.
Try this first: Fully clear your browser, and system temporary internet cache, cookies, and SSL cache, and verify browser security settings.(See below)
Complete the Machine Setup HERE
Reinstall root certificates (The DigiCert Global Root certificates may need to be manually deleted from the trusted root certificate store prior to reinstallation in some cases)

To fully clear your cache, cookies and SSL Cache, and verify browser security/certificate settings:
From the Start menu search for “Internet Options”

ON Edge and Chrome
Settings > Privacy and security / Privacy, search, and services > Security > [if Enhanced protection is enabled change to Standard. If this cannot be changed consult local admin] > Managed Certificates: Ensure "use imported local certificates from your operating system" is enabled.
Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data > Select - All Time for the timeframe > Cookies and other site data > Cached images and files > Site Settings > click “Clear data” and restart the browser.
If still unsuccessful: disable all browser extensions. reset browsers to default settings. clear browser and Internet cache and clear ssl state.
Add "cac.piee.eb.mil" and "piee.eb.mil" to the trusted sites list. Reset advanced internet options to its default state.
Verify system date and time settings are valid, and local antivirus or firewall settings are not blocking SSL connections to piee.eb.mil or cac.piee.eb.mil, and that there are no known network communication issues.
