Description

The work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 652,000 cubic yards of required material in the main channel only, with a total payable quantity of approximately 1,105,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from the Charleston Harbor Entrance Channel – AS-5, AS-6, and AS-7. The wings and slope are not required to be dredged as part of this contract. All dredged material shall be deposited in the Charleston Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). The work is located in Charleston County, South Carolina. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act.
