DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Base project work involves maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Disposal Area (D/A-N), the Fort Clinch Placement Area (P/A-F), and the North Beach Placement Area (P/A-NB). Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling. Option A project work consists of Fort Clinch pre-placement debris removal. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 12 July 2024 and bids will be due on or about 12 August 2024.NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37 millionThe Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and 25,000,000.00.The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 185 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).  THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT.
