Description

Project Title: Whittier Narrows Dam Safety Modification Project. This solicitation and resulting contract are utilizing the Best Value Trade-off process in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 15. This acquisition uses the Integrated Design and Construction (IDaC) delivery method. The NAICS Code for this project 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The size standard is $45,000,000.00. IAW DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of this project is between $250,000,000.00 and $500,000,000.00. This acquisition is solicited using full and open competition. Amendment 0001 is issued to schedule a pre-proposal conference on 31 January 2024 and to change the date projnet will close for new inquiries. Amendment 0002 is issued to remove CLIN Note Number 3 in its entirety. Amendment 0003 is issued to extend the proposal due date to 12 June 2024, extend the bidder inquiry cutoff date to 22 April 2024, and to change the location and start time of the site visit on 28 February 2024.Amendment 0004 is issued to schedule a second site visit for 25 April 2024 at 9:00AM PST, Update Section 00 22 00, Update Specification Sections 01 11 00, 01 13 00, 01 57 19, 31 00 00, and 35 31 19, and provide CAD files for the project. Amendment 0008 is issued to update the CLIN schedule cost breakdown, extend the base period of performance 12 months, extend the availability of all options 12 months, update Section 00 22 00, update Wage Determination CA20240022, Update Sections 01 22 00, 03 25 00, 31 00 00, 31 23 19, and 32 92 19, revise Drawing G-013, and issue an appendix to the DDR. Amendment 0009 is issued to update CLIN Schedule Notes, update Wage Determination CA20240022, and update Specification Sections 01 11 00 and 01 57 19.
